Lotus Flower

Lotus Flower In Egyptian times, the lotus flower was very important in their religion. Meaning creation and rebirth, it was a symbol of the sun, because at night it closes and goes under the water, and at dawn it rises above the water and opens again. It was the only plant that could bloom and bear fruit at the same time as it emerged pure white from the depths of the swamp and grew above the water. One myth that revolves around the lotus is that during creation, a giant lotus flower grew out of a pond, from which the sun rose. Also, the lotus figure is depicted in various works of art throughout ancient Egypt. It acts as a border to outline a piece of artwork, or is held in the hands of a god or man. The lotus was also used in their mathematics, helping to calculate higher orders. One lotus works as 1,000 and two lotuses as 2,000. Araliya flower

Plant Name - Araliya flower The temple tree is a common and easily recognizable tree in Sri Lanka with knotted branches, long leaves and distinctive flowers. The fragrant flowers usually appear in clusters at the ends of branches and have five overlapping, waxy petals. There are many varieties, from deep crimson to orange to white, and the center of the flower is usually a different color than the others - for example, white flowers usually have a yellow center. Some think that the women depicted in the famous murals of the ancient rock fortress of Sigiriya are holding flowers very similar to the temple, so the tree must have been introduced to the country 1,500 years ago. In Sri Lanka, this flower has both religious and ceremonial significance. It is a favorite offering in Buddhist temples, and is often grown in temple precincts, thus earning it the name 'temple flower'. Anthurium Plant

Plant Name -  Anthurium Anthurium is a genus of about 1,000 perennial plants native to Central America, northern South America, and the Caribbean. They can be grown outdoors in tropical climates, but due to their specific care requirements, they are often kept as houseplants or in greenhouses. Growth rate is slow to moderate and dependent on adequate light but susceptible to sunlight. Also known as flamingo flowers for their unique, bright red, green and white colors, they can bloom repeatedly for a long time. Blooming cultivars are distinguished by heart-shaped waxy sepals (ie, modified leaves surrounding the flowers) and red or yellow pods. Most anthuriums are climbers, and all require high humidity and warmth. Anthuriums are poisonous to humans and pets. Lighting Anthurium prefers sun to shade, but too much direct light can burn the leaves. Insufficient light will result in poor growth and few flowers. The ideal location for your plant provides six hours of bright, indirect sunlight
